Artemis: The Goddess of Goal Getting

Every session of Magical Mentoring begins with a goddess. It's how the work began. A goddess has stepped forward and asked me to channel the, in fresh narratives, while reclaiming their origins. 

First it was Lilith. 

Then Hekate. 

Next came Kali Mas.

Then Aphrodite. 

And now, Artemis. 

They have always asked for a reclamation of their full spectrum. 

Lilith and Kali both wanted to be known as the nurturing, tough love mother's here to kick your ass in gear for equity, empowerment, and to cut ties with everything that is no longer in soul frequency for/with you. 

Aphrodite adamantly wants you to know her empowered, darker side and to ditch the bubble-gum-Disney-princess personae she's been saddled with. 

Hekate simply asked for your full devotion and attention. She is the mother of all witches that was tired of not being seen as the beginning and our evolution to crone energy. 

And now, Artemis stand sturdy but like a breeze at the edges of our energetics and asks to be understood more in alignment to Hekate, as a triple goddess of full spectrum rather than the watered down maiden warrior. 

Artemis's temple was one of the seven wonders of the world. It clocked in at 55,000 square feet and was rebuilt between 3 - 7xs (the history is sketchy on this but we know it was important enough to be multiple times). 

She was no small thing. 

Artemis was worshipped. 

At scale.

For thousands of years. 

Until the entrance of Christianity...the entrance of patriarchy. 

We used to be polytheistic. 

We used to worship goddesses. 

These goddesses were never side-quest-secondary-narrative.....they were the entire story.

They did not bring offerings to the table. 

They were the table. 

And they want their narratives back. 

They are calling to devotees and asking for priestesses.

You are the devotee.

You are the priestess.

Myth and narrative still live in our blood and bones. 

The goddesses continue on in our ancestry. 

We breathe them back to life every day. 

In our candles, our prayers, our tappings, our shakings, our simple awareness of their full spectrum. 

Their stories are our magick. 

We can breathe them bigger and deeper every time we offer our time, money, energy, and intentions to them. 

It requires tools, tactics, and practices to bring them back. 

It blooms in community.

Because where three or more are gathered began far before the book of Matthew. 

Energy and frequency build on each other. 

The magick of combined energy in feminine spaces bring her back. 

Artemis is asking for us to rebuild her temples within our selves and with each other. 

Who is Artemis. 

Artemis is the goddess of the hunt and the moon.

She is gender non-conforming and asked to be and remain liberated, independent, and sovereign....at the age of three.

She was one of three goddesses that retained their independence from males, they never married, nor raped, seduced, or overpowered by male counterparts. 

She stands empowered, as the goddess of goal getting, patience, strength, strategy, and knowing when to let go. 

She refuses to compromise her true self. 

She entered this community softly. Quietly. Clearly. 

In rabbits. In green. In white. In her bow and arrow. Always in the stag. In the whispers of the wilderness, in our disillusion of life that calls us to integrity and liberation. 

Artemis asks 'What do you want'?

Then sets a course of planning your way, patiently to exactly that. 

She is guide and guardian of female communities. 

She traditionally is asexual, tho there is mention of her falling in love with Orion the killing him by mistake.... but there are so many delightful modern narratives of her as a sapphic archetype. 

However she presents to you, she is presenting to this community that she is olde magic. Deep support and transformation that we need, now. 

She is calling for is to integrate body and mind, to deepen our female community connections, and to pull the covers of the shadows that keep us dependent of anyone and anything other than divine female energy.  

She's asking that we become better stewards of the boring in order to get braver and better with getting what we want. 

She's ready to remove blocks for us when we set ourselves at her altar and add our intentional brick to her energetic temple. 

She says if you invest in me, I will 10x that energy for you. 

The questions we're working with this cycle are:

• How to prioritize the mundane in order to generate magick.
• How to remove chronic blocks to progress & personal power.
• How to get/stay in rooted confidence & empowerment 
• How can we guide the constructive direction of this timeline?
